Summer Theater Camp 2023 She Kills Monsters: Young Adventurers Edition

The Laboratory Theater of Florida is a professional teaching theater. Several of its patrons have generously offered to fund full and partial scholarships to guarantee that all young performers have access to this summer camp to sharpen their acting skills.
The Laboratory Theater of Florida: Education takes a "whole actor" approach to the craft. Actors exposed to all the work that goes into producing a show become highly coveted team members.
Ms. Maddy and Mr. Steven will be back teaching this summer's camp, and the students will be staging the fantastical comedy She Kills Monsters: Young Adventurers Edition.
A comedic romp into the world of fantasy role-playing games, She Kills Monsters is a high-octane dramatic comedy laden with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres, and 90s pop culture – a heart-pounding homage to the geek and warrior within us all.
The camp is available for kids ages 12 - 17. Please note below if your child is outside that age range and would like to participate in the camp. Based on an individual readiness assessment and interview, the Laboratory Theater of Florida's education department will consider campers close to, but outside of, the listed age range.
To apply for a full or partial scholarship, fill out the form below. The Director of Education will email all scholarship recipients.
