The Vagina Monologues

On Sunday, March 30, from 6 pm - 9 pm, the Scripts Uncensored banned scripts reading group will meet for a group reading of Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues, moderated by Kendra Weaver. A discussion of the play, and why some wish for it to be removed from access follows the reading.

Eve Ensler's groundbreaking collection of monologues are sometimes hilarious, sometimes heartbreaking monologues and always truthful and thought-provoking.

Table Reading of The Vagina Monolouges

Scripts Uncensored meets upstairs in The Lab's rehearsal space. Table reads mean that space is limited, and characters will be decided on a first-come, first-served basis. Scripts will be available during the event, and a worksheet will be provided to help break down not just this play but also useful for dissecting future plays. This event is now open to everyone, with high school students getting first preference for reading parts.

This is a free event series. There is no charge to participate. Donations are always welcome.
